Transferring patients with minimal back effort

Transferring patients with minimal back effort

Lifting and moving patients plays a crucial role in all areas of care. The backs of the nursing staff are constantly under pressure when transferring patients. For this reason, the SAMARIT ROLLBORD® was developed in 1988 as a no-lift Patient Transfer System.

The SAMARIT ROLLBORD® relieves the nursing staff by replacing demanding lifting movements: only 15% of the patient's body weight is used to push or pull the patient from one lateral surface to another.

Over the years, many other intelligent patient transfer devices have been added to the range, including the GLIDEBOARD® for moving seated patients, for example from a wheelchair to the toilet.
